Body Positivity | Spread the love.

“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection”

Loving yourself is one of the biggest battles we face in life.

It's hard growing up in a world with magazines full of beautiful models, and the illusion of perfect lives on social media. We sit and pick ourselves apart asking why we don't look like these 'people'. We idolize these women even when it destroys us.

But, how often do you look at yourself in the mirror and smile? How often do you walk past your reflection and check yourself out?

I decided a couple years ago that I was going to love ME first. I was going to put myself before everyone else and that it was time for me to be selfish and unconditionally love who I am. I decided to chase this dream of total confidence and let me tell you... I strut my stuff so hard now when I see my reflection. You better believe I look at myself in the mirror every morning and tell myself 5 things I love about myself.

If you have not tried this I highly encourage it!!  I can tell you right now, I am not perfect! I have frizzy crazy curls, a big butt AND thighs, I have stretch marks, curvy love handles, and I LOVE MYSELF!!

When you see yourself in that car mirror, girl you better blow yourself a kiss and fluff those curls because this is YOU. No one else can be you!

So, once I decided to love myself, it made it soooo much easier to love others. I started complimenting strangers because it became normal for me to compliment myself. I started feeling better about myself and in return I was happier around people. You start to get a glow and people attract to that fire. That fire has now turned into a mission. My goal is to help women around me find themselves. Screw going through life alone and feeling uncomfortable in your own skin. Screw raising more children who are scared to be themselves. I want to stop this.

So, here we are today! I just got home from spending the day with some beautiful women!!! They helped make my dreams come true. We did a body positive photo shoot.... and I cried a little, not gonna lie. When everyone first arrived, you could smell the fear. They had no clue what I was going to do to them, and secretly neither did I. I have build my business around focusing on one person to make them feel beautiful and fierce, but how could I do this with 15 women all at once. Ya know what?  It was easier than I thought. I just gave them a little courage, they fed off each others courage, and of course we rocked out to music and turned off all the lights! We were just women having a good time.

I was able to watch shy women turn into fierce friends! They were able to strip down ( literally, strip down... ) all of their insecurities and have a little fun. They met new people and realized how they're so similar.

I'd like to present to you, Hannah's Hunnie's! My beautiful, smart, strong, & empowered babes I like to call my friends. I can not thank you girls enough for the love and support you've shown me.  Here's to finding yourself and learning to love everything about you. Embracing what scares you and compliment the shit out of yourself. Start your change now.  Here's to us!
